The national appeal of Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Each year at 9:00AM on Thanksgiving morning, the official holiday season begins with the now famous words “Let’s have a Parade!”
Under the watchful eye of their Director, students and their bandmates take to the streets of New York City. 3.5 million spectators line the streets to cheer them on as 50+ million more people tune into NBC to watch the nation’s best Marching Bands, balloons, celebrities and festivities.
Students On Broadway is dedicated to bolstering this truly once in a life time experience for the High School-aged marching student and their family by tending to every planning and on-the-ground detail ensuring a smooth, seamless, and successful overall NYC Program.
Upon choosing Students On Broadway as your NYC Band Tour partner, an NYC Licensed member of our Tour Management team is assigned exclusively to your band. For the next 15 or so months, the Tour Manager works closely with you to develop, customize and fine tune your Band’s unique NYC Experience. That same Students On Broadway Tour Manager will work with you when your band arrives in New York City, ensuring that students, parents and directors receive a superior level of customer service in NYC.
To further ensure your peace of mind, Students On Broadway carries a $5M Tour Operator Professional Liability & Errors & Omissions Insurance policy underwritten by Steadfast Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Zurich North America. That’s $4M more than the industry standard. Bands/Parents Associations will be listed as additional insured.
As a New York City-based Tour Management Company, we are able to provide bands with exceptional pricing. In the case of one of our 2014 Macy*s Bands, the savings was substantial.
